Warranty Overview
Custom Shower Glass Doors provides limited warranty coverage for qualifying products purchased through our website, subject to the terms, exclusions, and limitations outlined in this policy.
Limited Product Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in writing, glass products and hardware components carry a limited 1-year residential warranty beginning on the original delivery or pickup date, regardless of installation date. Hardware finish defects carry a limited 90-day warranty.
What This Warranty Covers
This warranty may cover verified manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship, including hardware components that fail to operate substantially as intended under normal residential use and proper installation.
Proof of Purchase & Product Identification
Valid proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims. Customers may also be asked to provide the original order number, dealer invoice, delivery documentation, packaging labels, serial numbers or manufacturing identifiers if available, and photographs of the installed product. Failure to provide sufficient documentation to reasonably verify the product and original purchase may result in denial of warranty coverage.
Warranty Expiration
Warranty claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty period. Claims submitted after the warranty period expires are not eligible for coverage.
What Is NOT Covered
This warranty does not cover incorrect measurements, customer ordering errors, improper installation, installer negligence, structural movement, waterproofing failures, misuse, impact damage, scratches after delivery, corrosion from improper maintenance, improper cleaning, normal wear and tear, cosmetic aging, finish fading, or normal glass characteristics within industry tolerances.
Improper Cleaning & Maintenance
Use of abrasive cleaners, razor blades, steel wool, acidic cleaners, or harsh chemicals may void warranty coverage. Customers must properly maintain products and prevent excessive mineral buildup or corrosion.
Hardware Adjustment & Maintenance
Minor adjustments, routine maintenance, alignment corrections, tightening of hardware, replacement of consumable components, and normal wear over time are considered normal maintenance responsibilities and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Glass Breakage Exclusion
Glass breakage occurring after delivery and acceptance is not covered unless directly caused by a verified manufacturing defect.
Frameless and Semi-Frameless Shower Door Water Disclaimer
Frameless and semi-frameless shower systems are designed to minimize water escape but are not fully waterproof systems. Minor water leakage or splash-out may occur depending on design, installation conditions, and customer use.
Customer Maintenance Responsibilities
Customers must properly maintain products, avoid abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals, maintain hardware and seals, and prevent excessive mineral buildup to preserve warranty coverage.
Warranty Claim Procedure
Customers must notify us in writing within the applicable warranty period, provide proof of purchase, submit photographs of the issue, and allow reasonable inspection opportunities when requested.
Warranty Remedies
If a valid claim is approved, we may repair or replace the product, replace components, provide partial credit, or offer another remedy at our sole discretion.
Labor Exclusion
This warranty covers products only unless otherwise expressly stated in writing. Labor costs, installation costs, removal costs, reinstallation costs, travel expenses, and third-party contractor charges are excluded from warranty coverage.
Freight & Delivery Damage
Customers must inspect products immediately upon delivery. Visible freight damage must be documented before signing delivery receipts and reported promptly.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonoran Glass Systems, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages related to products, installation, delays, or water leakage.
No Other Warranties
Except as expressly stated herein, no other warranties apply. We disclaim all implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser and original installation location unless otherwise required by law or approved in writing.
Changes to Warranty Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Warranty Information Policy at any time without prior notice.
