Glass Protection is an optional protective coating available for select shower glass products. When applied, the coating helps reduce the adhesion of water, soap residue, mineral deposits, and other contaminants to the glass surface, making routine cleaning easier.
Glass Protection is intended to improve ease of maintenance but does not eliminate the need for regular cleaning and proper care.

What Glass Protection Does Not Do
Glass Protection is not intended to:

- Prevent hard water staining.
- Prevent soap scum accumulation.
- Prevent scratches.
- Prevent glass breakage.
- Prevent etching caused by mineral deposits or harsh chemicals.
- Eliminate the need for regular maintenance.
Customers should continue to clean and maintain their shower glass on a regular basis.
Customer Maintenance
To maximize the effectiveness of Glass Protection, customers should:
- Squeegee the glass after each use whenever practical.
- Clean the glass regularly using a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner.
- Wipe away standing water and soap residue.
- Follow all recommended maintenance instructions.
Regular maintenance is essential to preserving the performance of the protective coating.
Cleaning Products
Do not use:
- Abrasive cleaners
- Steel wool
- Scouring pads
- Razor blades
- Acidic cleaners
- Harsh chemicals
- Ammonia-based products unless specifically approved by the coating manufacturer
Use only non-abrasive cleaners designed for coated glass surfaces.
Hard Water Disclaimer
Areas with hard water may experience accelerated mineral buildup.
Glass Protection helps reduce mineral adhesion but cannot prevent hard water staining or mineral deposits if the glass is not properly maintained.
Failure to routinely clean the glass may result in permanent staining or etching that is not covered under any warranty.
Limitations
Glass Protection performance depends on numerous factors beyond our control, including:
- Water hardness
- Water chemistry
- Frequency of shower use
- Cleaning habits
- Environmental conditions
- Exposure to chemicals
For these reasons, no guarantee is made that the coating will completely prevent spotting, staining, or mineral buildup.
Warranty
Unless otherwise stated in writing, Glass Protection is covered only by the manufacturer's applicable warranty, if any.
Sonoran Glass Systems, LLC makes no separate warranty regarding the long-term performance, durability, or effectiveness of the coating beyond any warranty provided by the manufacturer.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sonoran Glass Systems, LLC shall not be liable for:
- Hard water staining
- Mineral deposits
- Soap scum buildup
- Improper cleaning
- Improper maintenance
- Chemical damage
- Surface scratches
- Cosmetic changes to the coating
- Normal wear over time
Optional Upgrade
Glass Protection is an optional upgrade selected by the customer at the time of purchase.
Customers who decline the upgrade acknowledge that untreated glass may require more frequent cleaning and may be more susceptible to water spotting and mineral buildup.
